This month’s OOTD is the perfect brunch outfit! With brunch we can keep it simply but this month is all about layering our outfits! The Golden Globes was this past week. As someone that works in the Film/Tv Industry, I figured I would go through some of my favorite looks. I will say this year’s fashion was different…

Not as glam as I would like. This year was giving prom… But hey 2023 was hard on a lot of people including actors and film personnel. And who’s to say that the best looks are to come since award season is just starting. We will have much more fab looks to come!

 

So let’s get started! My Top 5 Looks: Taylor Swift, Margo Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, Hunter Schafer, Gillian Anderson.

1. Tay tay brought it with that amazing green dress! She for sure won best dressed. Everything she wore just worked, the earrings, the hair, the neck line of the dress, just everything!
2. Margo! Or should I say Barbie! I love how she has taken this Iconic role and made it her life! She looked like the Barbie I would have fought my friends to play with! And not to mention she had a look change! Similar look but in black! RELATEABLE!
3. The Diana we didn’t know we needed! Elizabeth Debicki was stunning. It was a fun look but classy. I really loved how she had the layered necklaces, they didn’t over take the look and kept the other jewelry very simple! SLAY!
4. Hunter Schafer! Light Pink is her color. She looked so sweet in that dress, while keeping a unique look. Can’t wait to see more looks from her this season. I’m ready for a Tiguris look from her and her team.
5. Gillian Anderson wins the Classy Award! She was stunning in that dress. One word to describe this look for me - Pretty! am always in love with looks that scream Feminine Energy!

My runner up would be Angela Bassett. She really pulled off that dress. I feel like a lot of women wore black dresses which is to be expected, but hers by far was my favorite.

 

As far as men’s looks, It is always so hard to judge because they typically wear the same looks. Black tux, white or black shirt, bow tie, and shiny dress shoes. This year was a little different there were a lot of different looks for the men. Maybe a little try hard… But hey at least they are trying. My favorite looks were Lenny Kravitz (unique look as always), Jason Segal (classic but he looked so handsome), Barry Koghan (loved the different reds and the PANTS).

New Year, New Me! Right?

I am so excited for 2024 and so ready to put 2023 in the past! This year I have a lot of goals but I think the top of my list is this Boutique and finding a new look for myself! Who is with me?

So here we go:

• Layering! I want to start getting into layering my outfits. I am not good at this! Basics are kinda my thing… but this year I am going to try super hard not to do this!
• Leggings…. I wear them all day every day! I can’t stop because they are so comfy. So you all are going to start seeing more jeans, pants, skirts in my shop. I am on a mission to find some that are just as comfy as Leggings. Even though no when working out of course I’ll still be selling Activewear! Don’t you worry.
• Finding my voice in my clothing.. if that make sense. You can really tell a lot about a person by what they wear. I preach this on my website but I don’t always practice what I preach… So time to change that!
