Baggy or Comfortable….

Raise your hand if you find yourself grabbing comfortable clothes on a daily?

ME ME ME!

The only problem is later you see picture of yourself and you look frumpy…

Not Cute!

Baggy and comfortable can go hand in hand. Baggy is in style but so is comfort. So the big question is how do we style ourselves without our clothes looking ill-fitted?

My tips and tricks for this are pretty easy and the good news is you can find a lot of this style in your own closet… of course you could always check out my store for even more options.

If you are styling baggy pants:

Pants can be cute when they are little oversized. I don’t mean in the waist but in the legs. The key here is to grab a shirt that fits a bit smaller. Smaller can mean shorter or tighter. If you aren’t wanting tighter go with a cropped sweater or a cropped graphic tee. By having it cropped you will break up the baggy clothing items by having a small amount of your midriff showing.

Then add a chunky shoe so your bottoms don’t drag the ground. Plus, you can still see your shoes. Shoes are always on trend! And for me it's the first thing i see when i look at someone's outfit! The shoes really tie the outfit together! And to top it all off, layer a few necklaces. This will make you look more put together.

If this doesn’t work for you. Then a tighter top might be the way to go. This is easy to style! I love to take a top and slightly tuck the center hem into my pants, letting the rest of it shape around my waist. Baggy pants look fire like this. Then take a chunky boot with a heel and add a long sweater that fits tight on the arms! This is the best way to let your figure show even when your pants are baggy. It is the perfect everyday outfit! I even get away with wearing it to work.

If you are styling an oversized top:

We don’t have to break this one up too much… it’s pretty straight forward. If you have a baggy top. DON’T ADD BAGGY PANTS! You will not be slaying your outfit by doing this. My tip is wear tight pants! Don’t worry you can still get away with being comfortable. Trust me, I’m the queen of comfort. Lol. Grab a pair of leggings/ tights and you are set to go. Wear cute boots that get everyone’s attention and your favorite jacket! You will rock that outfit so hard!

Outfit for Date Night: Christmas Edition

Time to get your honey to take you on a cute date night for this Christmas Season! Leave the kids at home and go go go!

 WHAT DO WE WEAR????

 Don’t worry, I got you!

Let’s think Rachel Green, this season! She has a timeless fashion and is styling goals.

Step 1: Skort or shorts.. I’m think plaid but you could get away with black!

Step 2: Layer the skort over a pair of black sheer tights.

Step 3: Tight long sleeve shirt or turtle neck. (if you wear a turtle neck put your hair up).

Step 4: A pair of point toe heeled boots! This will give you a classy look!

Step 5: For the cold… add a long coat!

Trends for 2024!

With the New Year upon us…. I think it’s time to start talking about my fashion predictions in 2024. Time to get out my glass ball and look into the future!

Trend 1: JUMPSUITS: Fashion today is all about comfort and making it easy! What’s more easy then a jumpsuit? If you don’t consider every time you have to go to the bathroom lol. Jumpsuits were starting to make a comeback this spring but never really stuck. I think this year they will! I can see them being very lose fitting and wide legged!

Trend 2: Cut outs in all the right places! : This is going to be a BIG trend for 2024! You will probably get cut outs all over clothing. Some may have sheer materials with them but you will still be able to see skin. We may even have some cuts that go through the entire article of clothing!

Trend 3: Pants with wide legs… is it 2010 Again? This is really already a trend… but it is going to come in full force in 2024. Skinny jeans will no longer be the fashion trend. My little heart aches for this one! I love a good skinny jean! This will mean not only will boot cut be coming back but I think that wide legs will include the entire pant. Small waist but baggy jean! What do you think?

Trend 4: Sustainable Fashion: As someone that works in the film industry, I work with a lot of actors and they are turning to more Sustainable fashion. This would be more eco friendly fabrics, Less Manufactured products such as organic cotton, and Recycled material. The synthetic materials will be out! BYE BYE PLOY & RAY RAY!  This I feel like is going to be a big trend. People are starting to turn to this life style in all aspect of their life and clothes are not any different!

Remember, these are just my predictions, and fashion is always evolving. The best way to stay on trend is to wear what makes you feel confident and express your personal style.

I hope this gives you some inspiration for your 2024 wardrobe!

Comment below if you have any trends you think will hit us in the future fashion world! I’d love to know your thoughts!
